   Zinc stearate is a white, light and fine powder. The molecular formula is ZN(C17H35COO)2, and the molecular structure is RCOOZnOOCR(R is a mixed alkyl group in industrial stearic acid). It is flammable, with a specific gravity of 1.095, an autoignition point of 900ºC, a density of 1.095, a melting point of 130ºC, and has a greasy feel.

1. It is used as a softening and lubricant for rubber products, a polishing agent for textiles, and a stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride plastics.
