As a heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride and a variety of plastic processing lubricants, release agents, etc. Also used in food packaging, medical equipment and other requirements of non-toxic soft film and equipment. It can also be used as a halogen absorber for polyethylene and polypropylene to eliminate the adverse effects of residual catalysts on color and stability. It is used as plasticizer in rubber processing, thickening agent of grease, waterproof agent of textile, smoothing agent of paint, plasticizer in the manufacture of plastic records, etc. It is also used in the production of pencil lead and in the and spice industries.
